Privacy policy

This policy covers the Archipixels website. Archipixels is an architecture and interior design studio at 1/146, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, India. In this policy "we" means the studio.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry we collect your name, e-mail address and message. The phone number, project type and city are optional. With each enquiry we also store the IP address and browser details of the device you used and the page you came from. We use these to filter spam and to see where enquiries come from.

If you write to us by e-mail, call or message us on WhatsApp, we hold what you send us in that service. Those services have their own policies.

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits. It records the pages viewed, the type of device and browser, and the approximate location of the visit. IP addresses are shortened before storage. Analytics does not run when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.

Our hosting company keeps standard server logs, such as the IP address and time of each request, for security and fault finding.

Why we use it

We use enquiry details to reply to you and to discuss your project. We use technical details to keep the site secure and working. We do not use your details for marketing mailings unless you ask for them, and we do not sell them. By sending the enquiry form you agree to us using your details for this purpose.

Who receives it

Your details are handled by the studio's team and by the services that run the site: our hosting company, our e-mail delivery service ([MAIL PROVIDER]) and, when analytics is on, Google. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.

If you press "Show the map" on the Studio page, your browser loads a map from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details under Google's own privacy policy. We do not receive that information.

Where it is stored and for how long

The site is hosted in [HOSTING REGION]. We keep an enquiry for [RETENTION PERIOD] after our last contact about it, then delete it. If the enquiry becomes a project, we keep the project records for as long as the work and our legal obligations need.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the details we hold about you, correct them, delete them or stop using them. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to hello@archipixels.com and we will reply within [RESPONSE TIME].

If you have a complaint about how we handled your data, write to our grievance officer, [GRIEVANCE OFFICER NAME], at the same address. If we do not resolve it, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India once it is set up to receive complaints.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiries are stored in a database that only authorised staff can open, behind a password and a one-time code sent by e-mail. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise that data can never be accessed without permission. If a breach affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Changes

When this policy changes, we post the new version here and update the date at the top.
